Black People & Cryptocurrency (BPC) was born as Black People & Cryptocurrency Facebook Group (This link opens a new window.) on September 4, 2017. Join us to learn about the history of Bitcoin and its offspring cryptocurrencies as well as blockchain developments from Black startup founders. BPC focuses on helping students and founders in the blockchain sector.
During 2021, BPC will build on our primary initiatives that include:
- Supporting Black startup founders in the blockchain sector.
- Guiding HBCU and other Black students in skill development for new careers in the blockchain space. In addition, we support the educational development of Black learners and founders in crypto.
- Spreading blockchain information and education via articles, live streams, public speaking, workshops, and more.
